ROOTED is a 10-week small group experience that connects people to God, the church, and their purpose. This experience begins your journey in an Anthem Community. You will be placed in a small group of about 12 members that you will stay with for the entire Rooted experience. The hope is that you will remain together as a Community Group after Rooted.
Rooted will begin again on January 12th, 2021. Rooted meets at the building of First Baptist Church in downtown Coeur d’Alene, and we provide childcare for the Tuesday night group times.
- Five (approximately 20 minute) homework lessons per week
- Weekly group attendance
- One Saturday prayer experience with your group (3 hours)(Childcare not provided)
- One serve experience with your group (4-6 hours)(Childcare not provided)
- Registration Cost
If you expect to miss more than two sessions with your group, we encourage you to consider taking Rooted at another time in the year.
After Rooted, Anthem Communities meet in homes at a day and time that the group members agree on. During Rooted, your group will decide the time and location you will continue to meet and how you will accommodate childcare, etc. Angela Gifford (Connections Pastor) and your Rooted Facilitator will coach your group leader through the logistics of starting your Community Group. If for some reason it doesn’t seem that transitioning to a Community Group with your Rooted Group is going to work, every effort will be made to place you in a different Community Group.
Anthem Communities are encouraged to meet in three, ten-week sessions a year. Rooted is offered during the same calendar time periods.
2021 Sessions are as follows:
Winter – January 12th
Spring – Week of April 11
Fall – Week of September 12
