Rooted
ROOTED is a 10-week small group experience that connects people to God, the church, and their purpose. This experience is how we give new community groups a good start! You will be placed in a group of approximately 10-15 members that you will stay with for the entire Rooted experience, and then hopefully continue with long-term after Rooted is over. All groups meet at the Anthem building for the 10- week Rooted experience, and childcare is provided during this time.
The next Rooted session will begin in January 29th, 2023.
Personal Investment:
- Five (approximately 20 minutes) homework lessons per week
- Weekly group attendance on Sundays for ten weeks, beginning January 29th, 4-6pm
- One Saturday prayer experience with your group (Childcare not provided)
- One Saturday serve experience with your group. (4-6 hours) (Childcare not provided)
- Registration Cost – $20 individual / $40 married couple
If you expect to be out of town for a significant portion of the experience, we encourage you to consider taking Rooted at another time in the year.
Rooted is so important to us that we budget to offer it at a much lower cost than it takes to operate. BUT if the cost of Rooted is still difficult for you, please email Angela. We will work it out! angela.gifford@thisisouranthem.com
After Rooted, Anthem Communities meet in homes at a day and time that the group members agree on. During Rooted, your group will decide the time and location you will continue to meet and how you will accommodate childcare, etc. Angela Gifford (Connections Pastor) and your Rooted Facilitator will coach your group leader through the logistics of starting your Community Group. If for some reason it doesn’t seem that transitioning to a Community Group with your Rooted Group is going to work, every effort will be made to place you in a different Community Group.
