011 — Beliefs

What we hold to be true.

These are the convictions that shape everything we do as a community.

I

God is good.

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all things, and His nature is love. He is sovereign over all, faithful in every promise, and worthy of all worship.

"The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made." — Psalm 145:9

II

Jesus is the way.

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He reconciled us to the Father. He is the only way to salvation, and His grace is available to everyone who believes.

"I am the way and the truth and the life." — John 14:6

III

The Spirit moves.

We believe the Holy Spirit is present and active, convicting, comforting, guiding, and empowering every believer to live the life God intended. The Spirit gives gifts to the church for building up the body of Christ.

"But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things." — John 14:26

IV

Scripture is alive.

We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God. It is living and active, the foundation of our faith and the guide for our lives. Through Scripture, God reveals Himself and His purposes for humanity.

"For the word of God is alive and active." — Hebrews 4:12

V

Community is essential.

We believe we were not made to walk alone. The church is the body of Christ, and each member plays a vital role. We are called to bear one another's burdens, celebrate one another's victories, and grow together in faith.

"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." — Galatians 6:2

VI

We are sent.

We believe every follower of Jesus is called to be a light in the world. The Great Commission is not just for missionaries overseas — it is for every believer, in every workplace, neighborhood, and relationship.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations." — Matthew 28:19

VII

Creation is sacred.

We believe God created the heavens and the earth, and He called it good. We are stewards of His creation, called to cultivate, protect, and honor the world He has entrusted to us.

"The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it." — Psalm 24:1

VIII

Grace is sufficient.

We believe that salvation is a gift of grace through faith, not a reward for good behavior. No one is too broken, too far gone, or too lost for the redeeming love of God. His grace meets us exactly where we are.

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith." — Ephesians 2:8
